Dress conversion into a Skirt

Customer requested a skirt be made from a scrappy summer dress, the top part was cut off leaving a skirt to the required length and what was formerly the straps were re-used to create a casing for the waistband.

Two rows of elastic around encased in the waistband, finished with bias binding and the skirt was ready. A new lightweight, wearable garment from something that wasn't being worn.
