Blue Prom Dress, adding corset back

I was asked to adjust the fastening on the back of this sequin lace bodice, so that it was more adjustable. The zip was shortened to finish just below the waist, and loops were made to create the corset back with a matching ribbon.

With no spare material in the dress a blue satin was re-used (formerly a lining) to make the loops, corset casing and ribbon for the new fastening.

There was also a slight alteration to the shoulders to remove 2" and reduce gaping on the back neckline.
