Swimsuit Alteration

A client had brought the swimsuit with matching top and trousers, and the fitting of the swimsuit was perfect at the top, but too long in the body.

Several inches needed to be removed, with just one existing seam on the gusset - so some creating finishing was agreed that retained the coverage in the bottom half of the costume, but made the garment shorter. Cutting at the gusset, unpicking the elastic around the legs and gathering the material in the back to fit the gusset width.
