Corduroy Pocket Repair

The material used for pockets by high street fashion is not the best quality, it's lightweight and does not increase the bulk of material in clothes but wears quickly if used - which is the purpose of a pocket.

A client asked me to repair the pocket on their favourite corduroys, which had been readied once and since disintegrated.

The repair involved cutting away the damaged material, and stitching a new piece to fit, from the outside there is no sign it's been altered and on the inside he has a nice piece of cotton to put his hankies in.
